Micheal K's Story

Life I grew up with siblings Gregory (1949), Marcia (1953), Anthony(1955) and Wendy Williams (1959) and grew up on 55th and 58th Street, Fairfield. My class was the last class to graduate from E. J. Oliver High School(Formerly Fairfield Indusrial High). Currently, I am CEO/Founder of The Messiah's Ministries & Services, a national faith-based consulting ministry located in Southern, CA 5622190886. College I attended Miles College & Tuskegee University (1982-1986) and graduated with a Dual Degree Math & Electrical Engineer; Interdenominational Theological Center & Virginia Graduate School of Theology and graduated with a Dual Masters in Theology & Ministry (1988-1991) Union Theological Seminary and graduated with a Th.D 1991-1993 Workplace My Executive Nonprofit and Faith-based Leadership credentials expand over a twenty-five plus years of pastoral and executive leadership experience in successfully developing and growing congregations, comprehensive community initiatives and programs throughout the United States in low-moderate income and disadvantaged communities. With continuous enrollment in the latest executive nonprofit training and developments, it ensures that organizational mission and financial sustainability is supported through up to date fundraising efforts, sound fiscal management and programmatic and operational excellence. Woods Johnson’s Youth Matters; The Commonwealth of Virginia’s Citizen Empowerment Commission and Education Commission. I have served as Board Member for the Cities in Schools, and Redevelopment & Housing Authority City of Richmond, Virginia, and as National Honorary Chairman for the National Business Advisory Committee prior to relocating to Southern, CA(2006). I have also founded two nonprofit organizations in Virginia and North Carolina that have provided comprehensive health, education, and human services to over 8,000 children, youths and their families living in economically depressed communities. In fact, within these communities the median income rose from $5,500/yr to now $ 30,000.00/year in what was known as the poorest median income area in the Commonwealth of Virginia. With more than 21 years of comprehensive community development certification and training, I have acquired extensive knowledge and experience in successful grant writing performance and non-profit management with strong emphasis on fiduciary integrity. I have leveraged over $127 millions for Faith Based Community Initiatives throughout the South Eastern United States and counting. For over twenty-one years(1980-2001), I was a senior pastor in the Christian Methodist Epsicopal(CME) Church before officially withdrawing to found The Messiah's House, Winston-Salem, North Carolina(2001-2006). In my new level of divine calling, I am committed to continually offering these skills throughout the United States and Third World Countries. Military United States Army 1972-1975
